This week we go to Singapore for the HSBC.   Once again this is a limited field, no cut event.  Met loves this course and plays there all the time.  I am sure she will take off work just to give us all the gossip.

Hannah broke the Korean stranglehold on this event.   It has been on the schedule since 2008, when Lorena Ochoa was the champion.   In 2008 Lorena took home $300k out of a $2 Million purse.  The purse stayed the same in 2009 but dropped to ‘just’ $1.3 million when Ai Miyazato won in 2010.  The purse is $2.4 million this year.

FUN FACT:  Ai Miyazato was the first golfer to be ranked number one in the world without ever winning a major.
